Moon and Sun
The moon is full, it's glorious light permeating the darkness. The moon has it's own personality. It does not have the tendancy to make you feel uncomfortable.
Yet only bestows you with a gentle light.
When the moon goes away the gaze of Apollo's chariot reigns high. Where the moon gives gentle light, the Sun is more unpredictable. The Sun can burn hot. It can show only a little behind the clouds.
The sun is a multiple person
Pursuing multiple goals
With no real end to it's beginnings
The sun itself may know where it began
But it is the only one
But if only the Sun knows it's own path
And no other stars or constellations know
Then who is to say where the Sun will end up?
The Sun knows where it's true path lies,
it knew from the beginning,
and although only it knows, it needs no other star or constellation to tell it what happens to a Sun when it expires.
The Sun knows that in the end, it will Supernova into a beautiful transfixture of cosmic disarray,
Taking out any unlucky stars or planets around it when it comes to it's dramatic end.
The Sun gives life - the Sun can take it away.
Yet another quality of the Sun - yet, how would anyone on Earth know the Sun has the power to take away life?
Unless they saw it for themselves? And in that instant, any knowledge of such event would be erased along with humanity.
So then, who can tell the Sun the innate ability it has stored within itself?
Who can tell the Sun what it's end path truly is?
Are we this sublime?
The Sun only truly knows where it's path lies.
